River Hills Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Willard Byrd and developed by Sea Pines Development Company. The course features natural water hazards, bunkers, and varied elevation changes, requiring precise aiming and good approach play. The greens are champion Bermudagrass, renovated and improved in 2012, 2022, and 2023 for a smooth putting experience. Since 1960, River Hills has grown into a club with a strong community spirit and family-friendly atmosphere. Training facilities include a short game practice area, driving range, and Golf Academy, which uses the Operation 36 coaching model.
