York Golf Club has over a century of tradition, started in 1924 as York Temple Country Club. Originally designed by George Sargent as a 9-hole course; a second 9-hole loop added in 1931, clubhouse opened in 1928. Today, an 18-hole course with par 3, 4, and 5 holes, characterized by tall old trees and rolling terrain. The scenic Olentangy River enhances the course and fairways offer varied play. The club offers a relaxed culture with walking and carry options, a practice tee, and long- and short-game facilities. The clubhouse includes a restaurant and bar, suitable for tournaments and club events.
