Wethersfield Country Club, founded in 1916 in Connecticut, is a classic golf course with a traditional feel. Originally designed by Robert D. Pryde, it winds through rolling hills and stately trees, featuring wide fairways and challenging greens requiring precision. Each hole has its own character, making a round varied and purposeful. The club's history is impressive, hosting the Insurance City Open (later Greater Hartford Open) from 1952 to 1983. Arnold Palmer won his first U.S. PGA Tour event here in 1956, Tommy Bolt set a course record of 60 in 1954, and Sam Snead won by seven strokes in 1955. Practice facilities include a large putting green, spacious driving range, and practice green.
