Sweetwater Country Club, now TPC Houston, offers a versatile 36-hole golf experience with two championship courses: Pecan and Cypress. The Pecan Course, designed by Roger Packard, plays as a par-72 nearly 7,200-yard course, featuring serene pecan groves with Spanish moss on the back nine, requiring both length and precision. The Cypress Course, at 6,687 yards, emphasizes finesse with precise approaches, water hazards, and subtle elevation changes that make stance and position crucial. Training facilities include a double-sided driving range, a dedicated short game area, and modern practice amenities. In the early 1980s, the club hosted the LPGA and two LPGA Hall of Fame Classics.
