Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a private golf club with a Championship Golf Course on rolling hills. The course is set in a park-like landscape with elevation changes and strategic challenges, designed by golf architect Perry Maxwell. The Championship Course opened on May 23, 1936, and later expanded to an 18-hole course when the 'West Nine' was added in 1992. The club has a rich tournament history with 17 championships since 1945, including the fifth PGA Championship in May 2022. Southern Hills also features the Golf Performance Center and collaborates with First Tee of Tulsa, while the clubhouse with Maxwell's contributes to the classic country club atmosphere.
