Saucon Valley Country Club is a historic golf club founded in 1920 by 16 Bethlehem Steel business leaders. The expansive estate features three 18-hole championship courses and a 6-hole Short Course. The Old Course, designed by British architect Herbert Strong, follows gently rolling natural terrain with a classic, refined character rooted in a former farm landscape. The Old Course is nationally renowned, hosting 13 USGA national championships including the 2009 U.S. Women’s Open, 2014 U.S. Mid-Amateur, and Senior Opens in 1992, 2000, and 2022. The club supports golf development with a simulator and professional coaching, including clinics and programs on the Short Course for beginners and youth.
