Royal Latem Golf Club is a private 18-hole parkland course, founded in 1909 on Albert Feyerick's estate. The course still reflects the atmosphere of the old dunes and was originally known as Les Buttes Blanches, referring to the broom that grew here. It is a technical course requiring precision from both beginners and experienced golfers. The design began with Geo Pannell, was later revised by Fred Hawtree, and further adjusted on several holes by Martin Hawtree. Royal Latem also has a rich tournament history: in the 1950s, three Belgian Opens were held here, and in August 2011, the Belgian stage of the Alps Tour took place here. For warm-up, there are 14 covered practice mats with free balls, while the clubhouse with restaurant and terrace offers views over the course.
