Des Plaines Avenue 2520, 60546 North Riverside
Riverside Golf Club is a historic 18-hole course by the Des Plaines River on 125 park-like acres. Designed by W.B. Langford, it features classic tree-lined fairways on both river sides, grass-faced bunkers, and small, gently rolling greens, making it play longer and tougher than its 6500 yards suggest. Since 1893, this private club embodies tradition and culture, with a strong tournament scene including the 2007 Sectional U.S. Open Qualifier where only two players finished under par. It also offers PGA instruction, junior golf, a nationally recognized youth caddie program, interclub events, and ladies' organizations.
