Pelican Point Golf and Country Club is a semi-private 27-hole golf course in Gonzales, Louisiana, near the Mississippi River and behind the historic Houmas House Plantation. The course spans over 450 acres of former sugarcane land and consists of two parts: The Links, an 18-hole championship links course built in 1998 by SAJO Construction, and The Lakes, a 9-hole course added in 2002 for both beginners and experienced golfers. The course combines British links style with a distinct Louisiana influence. Notable holes include the Par 5 16th with an island green and the Par 4 18th with a pelican fairway bunker. Facilities include a driving range, practice greens, lessons in chipping, putting, and full swing, as well as the Flight Restaurant, The 19th Hole Bar, a swimming pool, and tennis facilities.
