Paint Creek Country Club is an 18-hole semi-private golf course in Lake Orion, Michigan, set in a scenic rolling landscape. The course plays over bentgrass fairways and offers variety with creeks, wetlands, doglegs, and island and peninsula greens. This variety makes each round tactical and varied, while the complex greens with many pin positions demand precise putting. Despite moderate length, the round remains challenging due to hilly terrain and varied slopes and distances. The course began as nine holes in the 1960s and expanded to 18 in the early 1990s under local architect Don Childs. Practice facilities include a putting green, practice sand bunker, and an aqua driving range on Lake Araho. The two-story clubhouse and Creekside Grill complete the experience, alongside an active club calendar with member tournaments and events.
