Old Chatham Golf Club is a private 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones, opened in 2001. The course spans 400 acres of protected woodlands, blending naturally with the landscape. It features firm and fast conditions with hazards frequently in play and green speeds reaching 12+ daily. The round is enjoyable to walk, aided by a caddie program. The clubhouse, opened in 2008, offers views from the back terrace and porch over the 10th and 18th holes. Old Chatham has a notable tournament history, hosting the 2009 North Carolina Amateur, 2019 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship, and 2023 U.S. Open Final Stage Qualifying.
