Whitmore Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 2QB
Newcastle Golf Club, founded in 1908 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, is a traditional parkland course shaped by mature planting. The 18 holes form a par-72 course of 6,379 yards, designed by Donald Steel, Tom MacKenzie, and Martin Ebert. Rolling fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and fast greens reward sharp play and good course management. The game is further challenged by mature trees, varied terrain, and notably tough par threes. The course offers plenty of risk-and-reward moments for golfers who dare to attack. The clubhouse features Westlands Restaurant and Suite, contributing to the traditional club atmosphere with dining and views over the course.
