Limuru Country Club is a private golf club with a rich history dating back to 1926. The 18-hole, par-72 championship course opened in two phases: the first nine holes in 1949 and the second nine in 1952. The course offers variety in length and par, making each round a varied challenge. About 25 km from Nairobi, you play in a beautiful country setting surrounded by lush tea gardens with views towards the Aberdare escarpment and the Great Rift Valley. A fully automated irrigation system keeps the course in good condition. The clubhouse has a warm, old English atmosphere with bar, lounges, and fireplaces, and from the dining area, you overlook the ninth and eighteenth greens.
