Causeway Road 101, 11559 Lawrence
Lawrence Yacht and Country Club is an 18-hole golf course on Long Island's South Shore, Nassau County. Designed in 1924 by Devereux Emmet, it was fully redesigned in the late 1960s, extending to about 6,500/6,324 yards. With five tees per hole, it offers a challenging yet fair round for all levels. Around Bannister Creek, the golf landscape blends with a traditional country club atmosphere. The club grounds include a marina with 135 slips, and in 1998, two new holes, 14 and 15, were added in a nature area. Heated indoor and outdoor practice facilities and a pro shop at the clubhouse complete the amenities.
