Kilspindie Golf Club

About this course:

Kilspindie Golf Club is a traditional Scottish links with 18 holes, located in the Aberlady Bay nature reserve on the Firth of Forth. The course was designed by Willie Park Jr. and Ben Sayers, with later minor adjustments, and plays strongly into the wind. The first holes face the prevailing breeze, making the game immediately tactical. During the round, you overlook a classic links landscape with seabirds, migrating geese, and seals, while Edinburgh and Arthur’s Seat are visible in the distance. The club has a rich history: the links officially opened in 1898 and was named Kilspindie in 1899. For golfers, there is a putting green, a chipping area with net, a professional shop, and tuition. Hickory enthusiasts are also catered for, with an annual Hickory Open and the opportunity to try hickory clubs.
