Johnson City Country Club is a private golf course in East Tennessee, founded in 1913. The 18-hole course by A.W. Tillinghast lies in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and plays over rolling terrain with mature trees and beautiful views. This gives the course a natural and strategic character. The championship layout with bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways is designed for a broad audience and is also pleasant to walk due to the short loops. Besides the course, the club has a complete practice facility with driving range, putting green, and chipping area, supplemented with an indoor golf simulator. Annually, the Tillinghast Invitational, a 36-hole tournament on the only Tillinghast course in Tennessee, is held here.
