Joe Louis “The Champ” Golf Course is an 18-hole course with varied, private character and a clear test of precision. The long par 5s, thoughtful water and bunker hazards, and large, rolling greens make every shot count. A highlight is the 614-yard par 5 on hole 7, a tough challenge for experienced golfers. With three tee sets and 52 sand bunkers, the course offers variety, while wildlife and greenery add atmosphere. Named after heavyweight champion Joe Louis Barrow, it blends golf with Chicago and American history. As an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary, it emphasizes nature and habitat preservation.
