North Walnut Street 850, 47006 Batesville
Hillcrest Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course in Batesville, Indiana, established in 1914. It evolved from an early six-hole layout to nine holes and was expanded from 1987. The current design was fully redesigned by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, 1997 Golf World Magazine Architect of the Year. The course features a distinct links style on holes 4, 5, and 6, with doglegs, rolling fairways, tree-lined corridors, and both conventional and British pot-style bunkers. The varied layout offers a challenging round. Hillcrest also has a clubhouse with a 19th hole and golf shop, practice facilities including a driving range and putting green, and a par-3 hole opened in 2016.
