Great River Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course in Milford, CT, designed by Tom Fazio II in 2001. It blends links and parkland styles along the Housatonic River, demanding precision with water hazards, native penalty areas, and constant wind. The challenging par-3s are among the toughest in the state, and subtle green contours require sharp course management. The landscape is dual: front nine through tidal wetlands, back nine in a links-like setting above the river. The club has hosted multiple USGA qualifiers, intercollegiate events, and the LPGA Epson Tour Hartford Healthcare Women’s Championship.
