Golf de Wimereux is an authentic links course on the coast, where the landscape from the early 20th century shapes the character of the round. The club was founded around 1900 and expanded from a 9-hole to a full 18-hole course in 1907. Native coastal plants like broom, gorse, and ajonc give the course a distinct, rugged, and atmospheric profile, while the grass is said to resemble that of leading Scottish links courses. After the round, the clubhouse is a pleasant place to relax, featuring locker rooms, a pro shop, a bar-restaurant, and a fireplace. In warmer months, the terrace offers views over the course, ideal for a relaxed end to the day.
