997 Route de l'Outinière, 72300 Sablé-sur-Sarthe
Golf de Sablé-Solesmes is a 27-hole course with a 9-hole compact layout, set in a 140-hectare landscape between forests and the Sarthe riverbanks. Designed by French architect Michel Gayon, it offers a varied playing experience focused on nature and strategy. The three 9-hole loops each have their own character: Forêt is mostly flat with ponds and large trees; Rivière features an American-style layout with much water, suitable for beginners; Cascade has a Scottish signature with gentle slopes, clean lines, and challenging bunkers. The clubhouse includes a bar-restaurant, lounges, and terraces overlooking the course, providing a pleasant end to the round. Regular competitions include the Grand Prix de Sablé and Golf and Rose tournaments.
