Golf de l’Hirondelle is an 18-hole course of Golf Club de l’Hirondelle in Angoulême, playing a key role in local sports since 1955. The course sits high above the city, offering wide views of the Angoulême plateau and old town. It features a sloping, wooded character with a technical, demanding layout inviting precise shots. The club has a strong golf atmosphere, with a certified golf school welcoming about 60 students aged 6 to 18 annually, offering lessons and youth competitions. Training facilities include a practice area with 11 covered bays, a spacious approach and short game zone, and a large putting green near the clubhouse restaurant, which has a 100 m² covered terrace overlooking the 18th green.
