Golfbaan Sloten

Golfbaan Sloten is a challenging 9-hole course on the southwest edge of Amsterdam, set within Sportpark Sloten. The layout winds through attractive green surroundings where trees, ditches and water hazards shape almost every hole. Narrow fairways call for accurate shot placement, while compact greens are often protected by bunkers and ditches placed before or after the green. On the so-called dike holes, golfers face an interesting decision: play directly toward the green or lay up onto the dike. The course is complemented by a driving range with 16 tee stations, including three covered bays. Golfers are welcomed at a distinctive wooden clubhouse with an outdoor terrace, and the club offers professional coaching as well as training toward the golf skills exam. The park-like setting adds to the atmosphere, with wildlife such as hares and pheasants often nearby.
