Folkston Golf Club is a public 18-hole course in southern Georgia, about 30 miles north of Jacksonville. Originally designed by Ed Matson and opened in 1954, renovated in 2009, it offers a varied, inviting play focusing on precision and endurance. The front nine is shorter with water hazards on three holes; the back nine is longer. Numerous hills cause uneven lies. Pecan and cedar trees line fairways with many bunkers, giving a natural, challenging feel. Par 72 with driving range, blending technique and strategy.
