Eastwood Golf Course, also known as Eastwood Golf Club, is a traditional moorland golf course on the edge of Glasgow in Scotland's Central Belt. The course lies in open landscape with fine views and is known for the varied character of its holes: no two holes play the same. Since redevelopment and reopening in 2003, Eastwood has become an interesting and challenging course, with USGA-spec greens and tees for year-round play, except during heavy frost when frost greens are used. The course combines undulating greens, elevation changes, bunkers, and water and burn features that often require thoughtful strategy. For practice, there is a 300-yard range, pitching greens, practice bunkers, and two putting greens. The clubhouse offers multiple lounges and a terrace overlooking the practice putting green and the fairways of the 1st and 18th holes, while a halfway house at the 11th tee provides extra comfort for larger visiting groups.
