Golf Club Drive 10239, 32256 Jacksonville
Deerwood Country Club is a private 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course, founded in 1960 and originally designed by George Cobb. Known for its challenging layout with tees up to about 7,350 yards, it demands length and strategy, featuring a shared double green at holes 12 and 14 and risk-reward elements that add excitement. Currently undergoing redevelopment led by Erik Larsen, the course will have longer, more strategic holes, new bunkers, renewed fairways, and expanded green complexes. Additionally, Deerwood will add a 6-hole short course called The Approach, designed for 50 to 70-yard shots, with three greens and six bunkers. The club also has a rich tournament history, hosting multiple editions of the Greater Jacksonville Open on the PGA Tour.
