Golf Club, Baltray, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 HK03, Ierland
County Louth Golf Club, known as Baltray, is a championship links course on the East Coast in the historic Boyne Valley, with sweeping views over the Boyne estuary. Originally established in 1892 and redesigned in 1938 by Tom Simpson and Molly Gourlay, it offers a true and fair test of links golf, with coastal winds, rolling dunes and well-placed bunkering shaping every round. The 18-hole layout plays to par 72 and rewards thoughtful strategy as much as power. Baltray has also hosted major Irish Open championship golf, adding to its strong golfing pedigree. After the round, players can enjoy clubhouse dining overlooking the putting green, along with practice facilities, coaching through the club’s PGA professionals, and the help of knowledgeable local caddies.
