Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club is a 36-hole golf club with two Robert Trent Jones Jr. championship courses: the North Course and the South Course. The North Course, opened in 1987, is a long par-72 course of 7,226 yards emphasizing precise play. Its natural topography challenges tee shots, iron play, and short game, starting notably with a par 5 featuring a demanding tee shot over a barranca. The South Course, dating from 1995, is slightly shorter at 6,050 yards but demands precision. This shotmaker’s course has narrower fairways and greens with subtle breaks, winding through Coto canyon where players see only the hole they are playing. The club also offers a Golf Academy with TrackMan coaching, club fitting, and a pro shop, and is certified as an Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuary Course.
