Ballymacmoriarty, Ballyliffin, Co. Donegal, Ierland
Ballyliffin Golf Club’s The Old Links is a traditional links course on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic coast, shaped by natural dunes and ever-changing coastal winds. Opened in 1947 and later refined by Eddie Hackett and Nick Faldo, it offers a classic maritime layout on pure links terrain that will appeal to golfers who appreciate authentic seaside golf. Firm fairways, strategic bunkering, elevated tees and subtle greens demand careful club selection and good course management throughout the round. Sweeping views over Pollan Strand add to the atmosphere, while exposed par threes and risk-and-reward par fives provide variety from opening tee shot to final putt.
