Avondale Golf Club is an 18-hole par 72 course in North Idaho's lush native pine landscape. It offers a versatile challenge for low handicappers and a relaxed round for others. Bunkers are often tricky, greens multi-tiered, and smart club and direction choices are key. Water hazards appear on several holes, including a short par 3 with water in front of the green. The course dates back to the late 19th century, starting with 12 holes and expanding to 18 by 1905. Improvements to fairways and greens occurred later, with major irrigation renovations in the 1990s.
