Miacomet Golf Club is Nantucket's only 18-hole public course, about a mile from the ocean, with views and a links-like feel. Opened in 1963 on land once called 'Miacomet' by the Wampanoag tribe, it was expanded to 18 holes in 2003 by architect Howard Maurer, who renovated the original holes in 2008. The course offers challenging, varied holes with multiple tee boxes and fairways for all skill levels. Facilities include a putting green, driving range, and clubhouse with restaurant, making it a top golf destination where landscape and play blend beautifully.
