Belmont Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course with a classic New England style in Belmont, Metro Boston. The park-like setting and well-maintained rolling fairways define the play. Over time, parts of the course moved to low areas along Concord Avenue, adding design variety. The club's rich history dates to 1908 when Willard E. Robinson started a 9-hole course. In 1918, the 18-hole course was completed under Donald Ross's design. Belmont hosted notable golf moments: the 1949 U.S. Ryder Cup team trained here, Byron Nelson won the 1937 Belmont International Open, and the 2015 Constellation Senior Players took place here. Renovations in 2023 restored bunkers and greens in Donald Ross style.
